Made from ultra-strong Corning Gorilla glass, These are a direct replacement for the Hero 8 glass lens on the front of the GoPro.  If you have broken or scratched your Hero 8 lens, this is for you.  Includes a tool to help remove the old lens and pre-applied ultra strong adhesive to keep it on.

It's a super simple swap that just takes a few minutes, and it comes with everything you need, except a heat gun or hair dryer:

  • Replacement lens
  • Pre-applied adhesive
  • Tool to remove the old lens

You supply the heat gun.  A hair dryer will also work (you just need to use it very close)

Note that replacing the lens may void your warranty, and could reduce water resistance of the camera especially if not installed correctly.

Problem solved

My original glass lost it's seal allowing moisture behind it. This glass lens replacement did the trick. The hardest part was removing the original adhesive. A little patience goes a long way to make sure the surface is clean.

Excellent product that will save you a lot of money

My other half dropped her Hero 8 in just the right way to manage to crack the lens cover glass. She is a swimmer, so water was getting in to the camera through the crack.

We thought that we would have to completely replace the camera and my wife was moments away from placing an order for a new camera when I found the kit from Camera Butter. We saved a bunch of money, so I am really glad we found the kit.

The quality is excellent and the repair does appear to be waterproof as well which is obviously a requirement for us.

Another thing that is excellent is the service. I had a bunch of questions, and all of them were answered not just quickly but thoroughly and with added helpful detail. I would have absolutely no hesitation to order from Camera Butter again should the need arise. Top Notch. ❤️
