Cinema-grade optical neutrality plus an ultra-tough build made for real action use.

Quality ND filters for your GoPro Mission 1 and Mission 1 Pro

Extremely high quality ND filters made for the GoPro Mission 1 series of cameras These filters twist-lock on and off without tools, replacing the clear lens covering on the GoPro Mission 1/1 Pro, maintaining the waterproof seal.

These premium filters use our ultra high quality Black Diamond glass (Corning Gorilla Glass) and premium coatings for consistent, cinema-grade results. See the filter quality comparison.

Made for Action

The only GoPro ND filters made with Corning Gorilla Glass. Built from 2mm thick Black Diamond glass and anodized aircraft aluminum  - not plastic - for real strength when your GoPro gets used the way it was meant to be used.

Proof: hammer test Black Diamond glass vs competition.

Mission 1/1 Pro Automatic Lens Detection (works!)

Your GoPro recognizes the filter. Unlike most 3rd party options, Camera Butter filters work with GoPro's Mission 1 series automatic lens detection system, taking the guesswork out of getting the very best cinematic settings.

GoPro Hero 13 automatic lens detection recognizes Camera Butter ND filter

The camera will automatically tell you when you need a different filter and automatically adjust settings so you can focus on what you do best - getting the best footage possible!

High Quality Coatings

The glass is nanocoated to reduce glare, repel water, oil and to make fingerprints easy to wipe off.

Includes a carrying case.

Compatible with:

  • GoPro Mission 1
  • GoPro Mission 1 Pro

Installation Instructions:

  1. Remove the existing lens/cover by twisting 90 degrees parallel with the camera. Pulling away from the camera slightly may help.
  2. Place the Camera Butter ND filter on the camera with the metal bars on the filter oriented horizontally
  3. While pushing down towards the camera, twist the filter 90 degrees until it is square on the GoPro. If there is a Camera Butter logo on the filter, make sure the logo is oriented at the top of the camera if you are using a Hero 13 Black.
  4. Make sure that the filter is seated correctly and is flush with the camera. If it is crooked or can be removed easily, remove and re-install.
