Convenient

Must have protection for the Session5 which is becoming more and more rare. Getting ND filters allow you to set the exposure and ISO to hit the motion blur sweet spot. The stick on nature of them makes them very convenient to switch out

Now I See What The Hype Is All About

I had heard good things about Camera Butter and was on the market for my first ND filters, so I finally decided to get this one for my Hero 5 Sesson. The footage is absolutely amazing and the customer service that I got from Camera Butter was some of the best I could have asked for. I will note that the ND filters are a bit thick and they kind of stick up off the lens of the camera a bit, so this will make it challenging to slide into tight TPU camera mounts, but this turned out to not be a problem for me after all (as I learned by contacting the company). The adhesive that they use is sort of like a gel rather than a sticky glue, so you can remove them and reapply them very easily. The reason that I mention this is that I realized that I needed to cut away some of the TPU on my 3D printed camera mount to get the filter to fit in there properly, but after doing that, the filter fit fine. I am not able to slide the camera in and out of the camera mount without removing and reapplying the ND filter, but because of the type of adhesive they use, that's not a problem.
All in all I'm extremely pleased with the footage and only wish that I would have purchased this product sooner. Really great footage!

Nd filters

Love love love these filters! They hold up much better than flexible filament filters and are way eaiser to swap out! They do not scratch as easy and my footage looks great! Would absolutely recommend these if you want filtering without sacrificing quality!

Great product

This filter is better than any other I've seen. Clarity is really good, and the ability to easily remove it if needed is handy. I'd definitely recommend these to anyone flying FPV, or who just needs an ND filter for your GoPro!

Updated review

I previously gave these filters only 2-stars, but I realized that was unfair, as there's nothing wrong with the filters, they just didn't fit my application - and that's not the fault of the filter or Camera Butter.

Camera Butter worked with me in an effort to get the filters to fit, so they definitely stand behind their product.

Unfortunately, I'm still in the position of not being able to use them for the application I wanted, but maybe I'll find a use for them when I'm not using my GoPro on my quadcopters.
