Camera Butter Review Program

Are you interested in reviewing Camera Butter products? 

Our review program helps get products out to reviewers of all types who are interested in doing long form reviews (YouTube and written text reviews) at no charge.

Here's how it works:

  1. Fill out the form below to tell us about yourself and which product you'd like to review
  2. Once we approve the review, you will be sent a cart link
  3. You only pay a nominal shipping charge.  You are not charged for the product, but you agree to pay for it if you do not complete the review within 60 days. 
  4. We ship you the product, and you have 60 days to publish the review
  5. Let us know via our contact form that your review is completed, with a link to the review
  6. We verify the review, and cancel the deferred payment for the product.
  7. If the review is not published, you will be charged for the cost of the product.

Rules:

  1. Your review must be an in-depth review published either as a video to YouTube or a text-based review on your website. (other social media and formats may be allowed in the future)
  2. We do not need any type of editorial review or approval for your review.  If you do have issues or questions, we really hope that you will contact us before your review to give us a chance to answer your questions or rectify any issues.
  3. Your review must include a link to the product.
  4. Once your review is verified, we cancel the deferred payment for the product.
  5. If your review is not published within 60 days, you will be automatically charged for the product. 

How do we pick reviewers?

We use a number of criteria to approve review requests.  Unlike other review programs, your subscriber count is NOT the main thing we care about!  We can't send product out to everyone who requests it, but these are some of the things that we look at when making our decisions:

  • Is it a high priority product?   We generally want more reviews of newer and/or more popular products
  • Have you done reviews before?  We will look at your social media or blog posts to see what you've been up to.
  • Your location - do we have a dealer in your area of the world?  If not, refer us to your favorite dealer and earn a reward!
  • Have you reviewed Camera Butter products before?  It's always easier if we've already worked together in the past.
  • Have you used any of our products already, and understand what we are all about?
  • Limits - We have limits to the number of reviews (and free product) that we approve for any one product.
